About Therapy Animal

Therapy animals, as their name suggest, are used to provide therapeutic benefits to those in dire circumtances. Unlike service animals and emotional support animals, therapy animals do not have any protection under federal law. Instead, they are taken to locations such as hospitals, homeless shelters, schools, disaster relief areas, to lift up the spirits of those in need.
